Decompressing at Santo’s Deco Stop Lodge

Situated on an acre of lush hillside, overlooking the Segond Canal, and a short walk from the township of Luganville in Vanuatu’s Santo is the Deco Stop Lodge.

Aptly named after the decompression stop used in scuba diving the lodge is the perfect base for your visit to the diving mecca.

The relaxed atmosphere of Deco Stop Lodge is enhanced by million dollar views of the canal and surrounding island.  Following a day of diving the surrounding sites of the island of Espiritu Santo, the Narcosis Bar and Restaurant is the place to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Catering for all groups, couples and families, Deco Stop Lodge consists of 12 units, each equipped with a small fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, fan, insect screening, hot running water, electricity and own private bathroom facilities.  There are 6 twin/double rooms with the option of air conditioning and 6 fan-cooled quad share rooms. The share rooms can be used for 1 to 4 people with 2 available as 5 person family rooms. These all have the same facilities as the double rooms.

The lodge has a beautiful infinity pool which commands the very best view over the Segond Channel and the perfect place to enjoy your evening cocktail.  WIFI connection is available to keep in touch and there is a TV/games room with DVD hire for a little more entertainment.

Being a diving lodge, there is a storage facility for scuba diving equipment, along with washing facilities including a separate camera wash tub.

To explore the surrounding area there are motor scooters, car and mountain bikes available for hire on a daily basis.

Local diving tours can be booked through the lodge with pick up and drop off from the front gate.  Tours to various parts of Santo including beaches, blue holes, conservation areas and caves can also be arranged.
